How do I submit a complaint?
An individual seeking to file a formal complaint must follow the procedures set forth by the institution where the incident occurred. Information regarding the formal complaint process can be found via the systems’ policies on Power-Based Violence, Sexual Misconduct, and Title IX, which have been linked below.
Please note, incidents cannot be reported on this website. To file a formal complaint or report an incident, contact the Title IX Coordinator for your institution. To locate your institution’s Title IX Coordinator review the Title IX Coordinator Contact 1-Pager below or click here.

The Board of Regents submitted an annual report pursuant to Act 472 in January 2023. This response included a statewide data report on (1) responsible employee and confidential advisor training, and (2) summary incident reports.

Power-Based Violence Review Panel
Power-Based Violence Review Panel
The Power-Based Violence Review Panel was created by Act 441 of the 2021 Regular Legislative Session. This panel is charged with the following tasks:
- Evaluating policies and practices of institutions of public postsecondary education, public postsecondary education management boards, and the Board of Regents regarding reporting, investigating, and adjudicating power-based violence by and against students and recommend revisions to improve such policies and practices.
- Advising and assisting institutions of public postsecondary education, public postsecondary education management boards, and the Board of Regents in coordinating procedures to provide power-based violence prevention programs.
- Serving as an advisory body to the legislature, the governor, the Board of Regents, and the public postsecondary education management boards regarding power-based violence.
